Seminars
"For to behold and to fix the inner images is to make the soul live." — C. G. Jung
Painting Seminar: Painting from the Unconscious
I regularly offer painting seminars. Painting and contemplating images provides deep access to our soul. Working creatively with the unconscious fosters new perspectives and opens a space for self-reflection and self-awareness. In depth psychology according to C. G. Jung, Active Imagination and painting are crucial paths to consciousness.
Why this seminar?
Painting and contemplating images provides deep access to our soul. Working creatively with the unconscious fosters new perspectives and opens a space for self-reflection and self-awareness.
Painting in a Group
The group creates a safe vessel that fosters trust and courage. In this atmosphere, we can dare to try new things and explore hidden aspects of our psyche. Painting together is inspiring and enables exchange.

- Symbolic Input: A short input inspires the subsequent imagination.
- Painting: Participants create images that arise in their imagination.
- Joint Reflection: We look at the created images and discuss them carefully. We ask: What life themes, resources, and development opportunities do the images reflect?

Course Evenings on Dream Analysis according to C. G. Jung
The course evenings are held regularly. In a group (max. 7 people), we turn our attention to participants' dreams.
Why dream analysis?
Dreams connect us to the unconscious, foreign side of the soul. C. G. Jung gave central importance to working with dreams. Because dreams provide clues as to where we can develop in life. They show a different view of life, our needs, and our possibilities. They can be an important source for self-knowledge and awareness.
What is the approach?
It is primarily about the enriching and creative engagement with the images of the unconscious and not about psychotherapy in the narrow sense. We work with well-founded and proven depth psychology methods of dream analysis, as described and practiced for decades by, for example, Art Funkhouser. The work with dreams is supplemented by creative methods and theoretical inputs on dream analysis.
Goal of dream analysis in the group
In the group, we turn to specific dreams of participants. We proceed step by step and carefully to approach the symbolic understanding of the dreams. During the course evenings, we get closer to the meaning of the dreams. We try to understand them in their symbolic content and in relation to concrete life.
