Approach & Methods

My approach is based on Analytical Psychology according to C.G. Jung and art-oriented methods. Working with unconscious processes can awaken creative energies and allow new perspectives on life to be discovered. The psychoanalytic process develops in a climate of trust and mindfulness.

  • Analytical conversations
  • Dream analysis
  • Active Imagination
  • Creative processes (e.g., painting, drawing, writing, sandplay)
  • Mindfulness exercises

Analytical Psychology

Analytical Psychology assumes a psyche (soul) that encompasses both the conscious and the unconscious. For C. G. Jung, the unconscious, in its creative and conflict-ridden function, is of great importance. Working with dreams and images allows access to the contents of the unconscious. In this process, the analytical process makes visible what wants to develop in the current life situation, what is missing, what is inhibiting, and what is helpful. Because stories and images give shape to our experiences, wishes, and emotional states. In this process, emotions are released, memories surface, and needs become alive again.

The effect I am aiming for is the creation of a psychic state in which (...) nothing is any longer given for all time and hopelessly petrified, a state of fluidity, change, and becoming.

— C. G. Jung
